Redesign of the Charlotte & Lewis Steinberg Emergency Entrance

Participated in the redesign of the Charlotte & Lewis Steinberg Emergency Entrance, focusing on improving and facilitating patient traffic while enhancing patient care to over 100,000 annual visitors.

Created sight line and viewing distance studies that informed the letter size and design strategy to maximize visibility. This informed the decision to make the Hospital’s Emergency Entrance an important point in the flow of critical patient care. The design solution used a bold red colour background with white letters to highlight and accentuate the emergency 
drop-off area.

Worked with an architecture team to redesign the Charlotte & Lewis Steinberg Emergency Entrance signage, and coordinated with an internal technical artist to deliver the final design.
